What is the Global Star Enterprises (GSE) Intranet?
Your course material is supported by a simulated workplace called Global Star Enterprises (GSE). GSE is used as a basis for some of the content and assessments in AOT’s course.
If you are not currently working, not working in the field you wish to be, or do not wish to use your current workplace as a basis of answering workplace based scenario assessments, you can base your answers on GSE. GSE will allow you to experience a company environment and get your ready for work. This workplace will provide you with a medium to demonstrate your skills and knowledge within an actual work environment.
You are required to enter a username and password to access the GSE intranet from the link within your course.
You will find the GSE intranet in your course menu under Simulated Workplace.
There are a vast array of templates, policies and procedures in the GSE staff intranet which are provided to AOT learners as part of the course material.
When documents are referred to in your course material you will be directed to follow a path e.g. GSE intranet > Policies & Procedures > Administration > General > 'Document name'. This is directing you to the Policies & Procedures section, then you will need to click the Administration category and then General subcategory in the left hand side menu.
